The Ferris Wheel was the 2000 addition to THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS. The toymaker, Elvis E. York, spent most of the year constructing it. The colorful wheel is 6 feet in diameter and is a replica of those monuments of past Ferris Wheels that have thrilled and delighted crowds since the early 1900’s. As it turns it carries famous Beanie Baby riders (Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Pooh, Eeyore and many others) around an 18 foot circle. As you enjoy this Ferris Wheel may the familiar holiday sounds add to the moment and bring back many wonderful memories from the past.
